December 2010: Graduated from nursing school at Georgetown University

January 2011: Started my first nursing job on Labor & Delivery at Prince George’s Hospital Center

June 2012: Started midwifery school at Frontier Nursing University

October 2014: Began clinicals for midwifery school, and caught my first baby! I had the opportunity to learn from the midwives at BirthCare & Women’s Health in Alexandria, VA and George Washington University Hospital

May 2015: Graduated from midwifery school

June 2015: Started a year long Midwifery Fellowship at George Washington University Hospital

November 2016: Started a faculty midwifery job at Magee Women’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA

September 2021: Started my PhD program at the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing with the goal of studying maternal morbidity in the postpartum year.
